Catfish Tournament on the "King-Kat Trail"

Rock River in Dixon. Individuals or 2-person teams. A third person can accompany the required two people if younger than 16 or older than 65. $200 entry fee. In addition to prize money for the biggest catfish and the heaviest total catch, participants are competing for a chance to advance to Cabela’s “King-Kat Classic Trail” in October. Sponsored by Kodiak Outdoor Sports and the Dixon Tourism Board.

Community Christmas Walks

Horse drawn carriage rides, Santa Claus, live nativity scenes, arts and crafts, games, and shopping specials are among the activities usually included. Held annually by almost every community in Lee County from mid-November through December.

Dixon Carp Fishing Tournament

Dixon Petunia Festival

Lee County's oldest and largest festival. Events vary each year but always include top quality carnival attractions, the Taste Trail, craft show, nightly entertainment on the festival grounds, kids' day and parade. The country concert features rising country music stars and the fireworks display is one of the best in the area.

Fall Cruise 'n Show
